Milano Unica, the fair that sets the standard for high-end fabrics and accessories for men’s and women’s clothing, has made promoting sustainability in the sector one of its main aims. This vision is shared fully by Fulgar, the Italian company which is an international leader in the man-made fibre market.

For more than ten years Fulgar has been committed to green programmes whose objectives are to reconcile innovation and full traceability in the supply chain. The company also boasts an extensive portfolio of cutting-edge products, all of which are ‘eco-sustainable’.

This portfolio includes Q-Nova regenerated yarn, bio-based Evo, Amni Soul Eco, a fibre with accelerated decomposition, and the latest development from Fulgar, the innovative Q-Cycle, a revolutionary 6.6 polyamide where the raw material required for its production is replaced by pyrolysis oil from end-of-life tyres.

Fulgar produces an entire range of premium latest generation yarns whose ability to meet the high-quality standards demanded by the fashion world without compromising on sustainability and innovation makes them the winning choice for many leading fashion fabric manufacturers.

This dedicated commitment meets with success at the January 2024 Milano Unica, where the main players in the textile sector present their exclusive fashion collections for spring/summer 2025 made using the company’s high-tech and green products. The supply chain synergy focusses on a sustainable, high-quality approach to raw material solutions.

In the words of Daniela Antunes, Marketing Manager of Fulgar: "We’re excited to join our main partners at this year’s Milano Unica, a key event for international textile fashion worldwide. The growing interest in our yarns highlights the validity of our strategy, whose aim is to develop a responsible, traceable supply chain. This approach positions Fulgar at the forefront of innovation and supporting partner mills through the green products in our portfolio.”

The value of Fulgar’s technologies can be seen by discovering the collections presented at Milano Unica by the most important player partners: Alto Milanese, Borgini, Brugnoli, Iluna, Inwool, Lemar, Luxuy Jersey, Milior, Miti, Pontetorto, Sidonios and Sitip.
