The creative headquarters of leading Italian warp knitter Eurojersey has combined international research and careful study with creativity to come up with its recommendations and suggestions, which focus on Italian-made quality, functionality and comfort of Sensitive Fabrics for use in Winter 14/15 lingerie.
According to the company, the Sensitive Plus, Sensitive Seric Plus, Sensitive Ultra Light, Sensitive Touch, and Sensitive Sheer fabrics present an original and exclusive take on the most cutting-edge trends, dynamically vibrant scenes and imaginative ideas of our time.
Here is Eurojersey’s take on the collection:
“Contrasts, crossovers, layered effects, and impalpable and tangible transparencies can be found in the four central themes, which guide the imagination towards horizons of changing and never-ending wefts, weaves, traits and incisions. The reproductions made using state-of-the-art EcoPrint technology stand out for their realistic quality. Indeed, even the most minute details are emphasized. Tiny shapes such as graceful, natural flowers dance across the fabric in a succession of soft, deep colours and shades.
Extravagant Luxury
First up is an extremely bold, audacious and provocative variety of luxury, finished with an artistic, noble and sublime touch. This atmosphere is reminiscent of the boulevards of Paris, the magnificence of sumptuous theatres, the majesty of princely locations, and the splendour of exotic bouquets. The Extravagant Luxury theme transforms the extremely light and delicate Sensitive Seric Plus fabric (120 g/m2) into lavish brocades and damasks with decorative flounces, lacework and adornments. The EcoPrint technique with colour pigments is used to bring out the matt and gloss contrasts and the tiny jacquards.
Romantic Masculine
The second theme focuses on literary charm, nostalgia for tradition and a revival of craftsmanship. This is a world where the line between male and female becomes blurred, and features pure, authentic romanticized convergences and intersections. The backdrop is provided by Romantic Masculine and the stars of the story are the Sensitive Plus (117 g/m2), Sensitive Ultra Light (143 g/m2), Sensitive Touch (89 g/m2), and Sensitive Sheer (140 g/m2) fabrics, evoking memories of classic men’s formal wear, timeless shirts, the aroma of ink and nibs, and the magic of stamped parchments embellished with impromptu, bold feminine decorations. The EcoPrint technique with colour pigments emphasizes the transparencies of the fabrics, as well as their lightness and elaborate jacquard effects.
Instinctive
A journey back through time to medieval habits and customs, impregnable castles, indomitable knights, and stories and legends of mythological hunting techniques. The days of quarries, hawks and other birds of prey, and rough, natural materials, which have a strong and almost scornful quality. The Instinctive spirit is conveyed through the versatility of the Sensitive Seric Plus fabric (120 g/m2), which brings to life ancient hides, strong armour, and tough, wild weaving. These images are invigorated by bright, fiery colours, autumnal browns and greens, and red and golden lacquers.
The traditional printing technique with colour pigments highlights the matt and gloss contrasts and animal patterns.
Quiet Richness
The energy of bitter, biting cold, the power of freezing nature, the oily density of iridescent matter, the thickness of the elements, and the stillness of icy temperatures are evoked by the magic of Quiet Richness, which features in the exceptional snapshots that appear on the Sensitive Ultra Light (143 g/m2),
Sensitive Touch (89 g/m2), and Sensitive Sheer (140 g/m2) fabrics. There are images of fresh drops of dew, crystal-clear frost, and the streaks and stripes of boiling ice. The EcoPrint technique with colour pigments highlights evanescence, purity and delicate fragility.”
