Italian socks knitting machine manufacturer Busi has extended its range of Twin Layer knitting machines by introducing a new 4-inch diameter model.

“We’re excited to present the Busi Twin Layer, our patented machine for knitting technical socks with two independent layers, now available with a 4-inch diameter and 132 needles, enabling production of a wider range of socks,” says Leonardo Busi, Technical Director.

Key features of the Twin Layer machine are:

- True rib and selected Terry knitting

- Two-layer sock capability

- Internal pockets option for innovative sock functionality

- Optional RIMAGLIO device for seamless, automatic toe-closing

In field tests with a professional Milan-based soccer team, the innovative internal pockets eliminated the need for additional bandages, resulting in improved performance and comfort.
