Minimal, with clean lines and strong impact, Gossip is the new armchair by Mogg, designed by Idelfonso Colombo and made of the Panama Lifestyle fabric by Carvico, a leading Italy based manufacturer of high-tech warp knit and circular knitted fabrics for swimwear, sportswear, underwear and outerwear.
The collaboration between the two companies, one a leader in the production of warp-knitted fabrics and the other in complementary furniture, was born thanks to the technical characteristics and multifunctional possibilities offered by Carvico’s bi-elastic fabrics for the furnishing applications.

“It is precisely the extreme versatility, ease of use and high quality of Carvico's techno-fabrics that first inspired the project and then allowed the product to be fine-tuned,” the company says.
“For the creation of the Gossip armchairs, designer Idelfonso Colombo chose Panama Lifestyle, a smooth velvet, coupled to offer greater support, elasticised, with a shiny appearance, that perfectly envelops the structure of the seats.”

Soft and pleasant to the touch, bi-elastic and hyper-resistant, Panama is part of the Carvico Lifestyle furnishing collection. “It gives the Gossip armchairs by Mogg a curious and playful look, but at the same time functional and with attention to detail,” the company explains.
Presented for the first time at the Salone del Mobile 2019 in Milan in April, Gossip, available in four colours and one printed version, is the result of the Italian design and the excellence of Made in Italy products.
