Chargeurs PCC Fashion Technologies, a global leader in textiles, interlinings, and inner components, has launched a groundbreaking innovation for the high-end outdoor and luxury apparel markets. H2, is the world’s lightest 3-layer technical textile, the company claims. The new fabric, combining lightness with unmatched performance, is being premiered at this week’s ISPO Munich 2024, the leading global trade fair for outdoor products.
Weighing just 45 grams, H2 represents a technological milestone, offering exceptional stability, breathability, elasticity, and comfort. The fabric is crafted using warp knit weft-insertion technology, a proprietary innovation developed at Chargeurs PCC’s historic Lainière de Picardie production site in Péronne, France. The advanced process is said to deliver unparalleled warp stability and enables the use of precious wefts, making it suitable for both technical athleisure and luxury designs.
Innovation rooted in expertise
H2’s name draws inspiration from hydrogen, the lightest and most sustainable element in nature, underscoring its focus on both innovation and environmental consciousness. The fabric’s versatility and high-performance characteristics are tailored to meet the evolving demands of outdoor clothing and premium technical apparel, positioning it as a go-to choice for the world’s leading brands.
Gianluca Tanzi, Chairman and CEO of Chargeurs PCC Fashion Technologies, commented: “The launch of H2 is a key moment in our company’s growth journey. By leveraging our extensive expertise in textiles and interlinings, we have developed a revolutionary fabric made entirely in France and Italy. H2 exemplifies our commitment to delivering innovative solutions that align with the needs of demanding markets while ensuring quality and sustainability.”

Sustainability meets collaboration
At ISPO, Chargeurs PCC is also introducing a collaborative collection with Nastrotex-Cufra, a renowned Italian producer of elastic tapes for the fashion and sportswear sectors. This eco-conscious product line caters to lingerie, swimwear, and activewear markets, further highlighting Chargeurs PCC’s leadership in innovation and sustainability.
Chargeurs PCC invites visitors to explore the revolutionary H2 fabric and other innovations at its stand, 200 – Hall A3, from December 3–5, 2024.
