The MarediModa trade fair, which takes place every year in Cannes since 2002, is an important event for the premiere presentation of the collections of fabrics and accessories for the sea, underwear and athleisure sectors. It boasts an international presence of exhibitors and visitors that continues to grow year after year.
During the ordinary assembly of MarediModa that took place last month, corporate positions were renewed. Now, and until May 2021, the new President is Claudio Taiana, who succeeds Marco Borioli, in charge of three mandates. Taiana, one of MarediModa founders, has previously held this office. “I would like to thank Mr Borioli for the excellent work he has done over the years, which has led our trade show to grow further in terms of approval, visitors and appeal,” he commented.
“He has always pursued the spirit of our mission: the enhancement and promotion of Made in Europe trims and fabrics. In this regard, I would remind you that from 13-15 July we will be present in Miami for the Swim Week to present a preview of our collections”
At the 2018 edition of MarediModa, the new market landscape was the focus. The event, hosting over 100 exhibitors, highlighted the need for ‘multi-tasking garments’ fulfilling multiple purposes, delivering comfort, performance and simple yet unique design.
The next edition of MarediModa will be held at the usual location at the Palais des Festival in Cannes from 5-7 November.
