DyStar launches Cadira Polyester to help save valuable resources

According to the manufacturer, the Cadira concepts are designed to considerably reduce water, waste and energy consumption. It is expected to help brands, retailers and their production partners to save valuable resources, to reduce the carbon footprint of their textile goods and to increase productivity by improving the utilization of machinery.
Cadira Polyester
As the first concept of the Cadira Module, Cadira Reactive was launched at Interdye Shanghai last month. The second programme is Cadira Polyester. Cadira Polyester combines Dianix dyes and Sera auxiliaries with the eliot process optimization tool Optidye PES. The resource efficiency effects are achieved through three different components, the company reports:
- Optidye PES is said to help improve Right-First-Time performance and reduce energy, water, and chemical consumption and the effluent load
- Scour/dyeing and in-bath reduction clearing is designed to reduce energy and water consumption
- Alternatives in reduction clearing are said to reduce the effluent load
Cadira Polyester is additionally designed to reduce the processing time in order to improve the utilization of the machinery. The benefits of a full optimization through Cadira Polyester can be up to 58% of productivity increase, according to the manufacturer.
