Eurojersey, the leading Italian knitted fabrics producer, has developed its new ready2wear Autumn/Winter 2016-17 collection, based on Sensitive Fabrics.

A collection of fabrics is characterised by a touch of lifestyle is fuelled by volumes, shapes, plain hues and prints. It creates total looks and garments that perfectly meet any need for elegance, ergonomics, durability, comfort and fit, according to the producer.

New in the range of weights is the introduction of bonded fabrics, either printed and plain, or plain hues and bicolour. Fabrics increasingly recall metals like bronze, silver and gold, while the new micro-laser perforated fabrics hint at a taste for lifestyle.

Application technologies

The latest application technologies, such as raw cut hems, heat sealing, seamless bonding and finishing, go hand-in-hand with the ultra-flat surface of Sensitive Fabrics to achieve the unmistakable tailored look, the company reports.

Additionally, they are said to provide extra comfort, easy care and easy wear, and offer perfect fit and coordination between plain hues and printed designs, making garments stand out for their functionality and exclusivity.

Classic prints

The collection’s mood recalls the finest materials typical of the couture style. Stripes and dots are reinterpreted in a modern, functional and dynamic way. The static approach dissolves when confronted with fabric performance. Precision becomes accuracy and consistency becomes a symbol of timeless elegance.

Digital printing is said to enhance visual material texture, while tone-on-tone details are enlivened by the traditional print. Tailoring concept and couture style are accented by traditional colours: blue and dark grey stand out as the main features of tone-on-tone pinstripes which are more formal and yet unusual.

Melange prints and texture effects

The fascinating modern lure of the cosmos is the ideal background for a material interpretation of textile functionality, the company reports. Rough surfaces, such as meteorites, stones and minerals, come to life in symbolic textures of a space which is friendly but distant. Unusual repetitions of black and white, and light and dark are reminiscent of a lunar landscape and dreams related to unknown planets.

Emotion arises from experiencing surfaces beyond the visual horizon, brought to life thanks to traditional print technology. 3D printing enhances high definition details, with reliefs that are said to improve the experience to the touch. The colour ranges include gold, red orange and earthy tones with a strong appeal to the universe and to the rarefied atmosphere of Mars.

Math art prints

This theme stands for connections and interactions, artistic repetitions, logic diagrams, and multifaceted representations. The influence of the Mathematics and Art trend creates new graphics ideas using new technology. Creativity becomes systematic and methodical. Colours and geometries make the third dimension evolve.

Weaving and the famous zigzag Chevron pattern spread rapidly, breaking the colour’s monotony. Perceptual illusions take on more effective three-dimensional shapes, pleasing to the eye. Full-bodied colours, army green and brown yellow set the pace. Among the strong hues there are lilac and blue pin-pricks of light.

Technology focus

Various fabrics allow choosing the best look to suit every tailoring and aesthetics need, the company reports. A complete and multi-purpose collection stems from the strongest, opaque, and material-oriented Sensitive Classic fabric, and the range of Sensitive Bonded fabrics, featuring heat sealing instead of a traditional seam.

Sensitive Bonded fabrics with Fleece are ideal for thermal apparel as they are soft and comfortable to wear, the company reports. Sensitive Bonded fabrics with mesh effect are ideal for structured clothes ensuring added breathability.

Sensitive Bonded double face fabrics, perfect for exclusive structured garments, play on the effect of two different surfaces, smooth and plain on one side and full-bodied and material-oriented on the other thanks to the print.
