Filpucci, an Italian leader in the manufacture of creative yarns for quality knitwear, will be presenting its latest yarn and woollen selection at the upcoming Pitti Filati fashion exhibition that is taking place from 2-4 July in Florence.

The collection includes around 30 yarns with many variations not only in terms of gauge but also of mélange and gradient effects.

Woollen selection

A completely updated collection is projected towards avant”garde fashion formulas. Vibrant contrasts of dark and desaturated tones are said to create optical illusions, shaded effects and barely visible luminosity to suggest volumes, embossing, eccentric matches.

The collection's 50 yarns represent various lifestyle trends: luxury (high cashmere, ecoNinetyfive), contemporary (medium bracket, viscose blends),  and essentials (basic end, large”scale retailers).

Hand”knitting yarns focus on rare but easy”to”knit varieties – yarns with the language of the craft's origins and a young, fun spirit; new and old techniques together to inspire emotions and fashions, encouraging a spontaneous, informal, light”hearted interpretation.
