A genuine trend laboratory for specifiers in the fields of fashion, home and design. The Linen Dream Lab supports creativity and innovation and promotes the green assets of linen, a pioneer in sustainability. It is both a showroom and a platform, linking the linen industry, designers, and luxury brands, style studios and colleges.
Opened in Paris in March 2009, the Linen Dream Lab is a unique environment, where all the many applications of linen can be researched during a personalised meeting. Textile and non-textile developments, from fibre to by-products, from yarns to fabrics, knits, finishing and including non-wovens and composites, the Linen Dream Lab offers a panoramic view of the ever-increasing possibilities of European linen and hemp fibres.
Linen Dream Lab is a coming-together of a number of talents, the trend office Elementi Moda (Italy) for concepts and trend directions, the textile designers Daniele Aliverti (Italy) for wovens and Daniel Henry (Belgium) for knits, plus the innovation and creativity of the finest European mills. This creative team is led by Marie Demagdt, CELC’s Project Manager for Textile Creation and Innovation.
