Piave Maitex, an Italian knitted fashion fabrics producer, will present its newest products that include the new 2020 beachwear collection, the preview of the Spring/Summer 2019 collection, and the athleisure and sport collection at the upcoming MarediModa trade fair for the beachwear textiles industry, which takes place in Cannes, next month.
“As always, we present both novelties of plain fabrics as well as printed or ennobled. The direction sought is always oriented to the realisation of products with the right compromise between Innovation and aesthetic look, between fashion and comfort,” the company reports.
Among the highlights is HoneyconBeach, a stretch jacquard fabric, with a honeycomb surface effect, a classic theme adapted to a modern and contemporary look. The 3D aspect enhances reflections of light and comfort fit, a new interpretation of the more granted classic fabrics that can be used for both bikini and one-piece swimsuit. Bright & Matt-Warp-knit fabrics offer soft hand feel, control and breathability with a sharp, glossy, opaque contrast. Small relief geometric patterns capture the light and reflect it with changing effects; an alternative proposal for those seeking comfort and fashion. The Devore4cover-Up range is finally available. The new warp-knit based burn-out fabrics are ideal for fashion beachwear.
Mesh service
“Meshes and nets have always been our specialty products. From here our initiative to consolidate the presence of these best sellers on the market from a service to customer perspective and the launch of colour cards. This allows to choose from a selected range of colours normally in production, count on quicker deliveries and reasonable minimums,” the company says.
“The growing trend of many brands to design shaping swimsuits also pushed us to implement the use of our most established shape lining mesh, essential in the creation of garments with modelling/slimming effect. A way to live the sea and its summer atmospheres with greater confidence in your body.”
Beachwear Collection 2020
This collection not only includes new designs, but it also introduces a new concept, based on the possibility of combining different designs that can be coordinated in terms of both stylistic and colouristic crossover, according to the company: “Indeed, a new way of interpreting the swimsuit with unexpected and intriguing combinations.”
The Dynamic theme represents brightly coloured graphic movements, sophisticated lines printed on Lycra, light and comfortable, in combination with popular motifs of grid and spiderweb.
Floral is inspired by the jungles, leaves and flowers, tingled with bright colours. Tones of bright greens mingle with the blue and wisteria. Shaded tropical flowers seem soaked by the waves of the sea. Flowers with soft features are inspired by the timeless prints of Emilio Pucci.
Animal is a bold theme, with skin prints ranging from size micro to macro, tinged with coral pink, in contrast to the dark brown and more daring combinations.
New ennobled
The company will also present metallic effects and interesting surface effects offering alternative stylistic solutions. “Products where we have unleashed our imagination to meet the needs of those who want to characterise the product with original effects that seek the sensation without ever slipping into the exasperate,” the company adds.
“Flashy with taste. The surface effects complement this range of sophisticated and alternative products of their kind. The use destinations are manifold, ranging from the most glamorous lingerie to beachwear, outerwear, yoga apparel or activewear.”
