Following the roll-out of its new formula last July, the Première Vision New York and Indigo New York is back with an even stronger offer, taking place from 13-14 January at the New York’s Pier 92.

The exhibition for fashion fabrics, accessories and textile, and surface designs, will present trends for Spring/Summer 20016, welcoming 297 exhibiting companies, showing an increase by 14% over January 2014.

On offer

The accessories sector gains momentum this season, with 28 international companies showing, as compared to 14 last January and 24 in July 2014. The trimmings area at the entrance to the show brings together makers of buttons, buckles, metallic and plastic trims, embroidery and lace, labels, zippers and jewellery components.

Fabrics feature a wide range of choices, found in collections covering every need for the women’s and men’s markets. Some 118 weavers are on hand with a choice array of products: embroideries, lace, suitings, silks, woollens, knits, colour-wovens, technical fabrics, and more.

Loyal show exhibitors are joined this season by 13 newcomers, including Italian knit producer Carvico, the Japanese prints company Hokkoh, the French lace specialist Ets Lucien Noyon & Cie, and Ricamificio Lusi with its renowned embroidery collection.

Fashion inspiration

The part of the show dedicated to textile and surface designs will host 151 exhibitors – up by 10% over January 2014. Emerging and top designers and major fashion brand buyers have a chance to see what top international studios are creating for this new season. And 12 collections are showing for the first time, including Life Love Art, Din + Bloom, White Buffalo, Print Collective, and more.

Fashion inspiration at the show is rich and diverse, with two days of seminars, a selection of exhibitor products at trend areas, and the worldwide launch of the Première Vision Spring/Summer 16 Colour Card.

Special conferences around forward-looking themes provide a more overall approach to the fashion market. Following last July’s successful discussion on Responsible creation –issues and values for fashion, the theme this edition will be Technology and How it Will Serve the Fashion World in the Future, with a panel of prestigious speakers taking part.
