Leading textile industry specialists are gearing up for the showcase of their latest products to an international audience at the upcoming trade fairs, such as ITMA Asia + CITME that will be held in October, Première Vision trade fair that will take place from in September, and Febratex, set to take place next month in Brazil.
Shima Seiki, a leading flat knitting machine manufacturer, has announced it will exhibit at the Febratex Brazilian textile industry fair. The company will present the cutting edge in computerized flat knitting technology, represented by the latest Wholegarment machines and design system.
The exhibition will be a showcase for the company’s diverse line-up of its latest computerised flat knitting machines. The highlight of Shima Seiki’s exhibit at last year’s ITMA show in Milan, the flagship MACH2XS series will be on display. Demonstrations will also be performed on Shima Seiki’s SDS-ONE APEX3 3D design system that is at the core of the company’s Total Knitting System concept. SPGPrints to debut NEBULA Acid HD inks at Febratex 2016
Another company that has announced its participation in Brazilian textile industry fair is SPGPrints, a leader in the textile and graphics printing market. At the exhibition, it will launch its new range of NEBULA Acid HD inks for swimwear, silk and wool.
The NEBULA Acid HD inks, which can be used with any printer using Kyocera print heads, are a whole new formulation, developed and produced by SPGPrints, offering increased colour depth and improved runability, the manufacturer reports. According to the company, the new ink range is ideal for Polyamide (PA) Lycra swimwear, luxury silk items like fashion scarves and neck ties, and wools.

Mayer & Cie. to exhibit at ITMA Asia + CITME
German knitting machine manufacturer Mayer & Cie. will be exhibiting the company’s latest machinery at this year’s ITMA Asia + CITME textile machinery exhibition. Machines that will be on show in Shanghai are the OVJA 1.6 EE and the MSC 3.2 II. Mayer & Cie.’s spinitsystems spinning and knitting technology will be also represented by an info stand.
The machines that Mayer & Cie. will be exhibiting at ITMA Asia + CITME stand for two different competence areas that the circular knitting machine manufacturer serves in the Asian market. The MSC 3.2 II single jersey machine was specially developed for the Chinese market. It is assembled at Mayer & Cie.
The other machine that Mayer & Cie. is showcasing is the OVJA 1.6 EE, a Jacquard machine with double electronics that is much in demand for the manufacture of, for example, high-quality mattress cover fabrics, in the creative fashion industry and for knitted footwear. Stäubli to showcase knitting solutions at ITMA Asia 2016
Stäubli, a leading manufacturer of high-speed textile machinery, will also be presenting a range of its latest products dedicated to the requirements of the Asian market and knitting industry at the ITMA Asia + CITME 2016 trade fair.
With its brand DEIMO, Stäubli will be exhibiting automation solutions for the knitting industry at a separate booth, whilst the company will also present a wide range of textile machinery for various applications.
These will include shedding solutions for frame weaving, electronic Jacquard machines with harnesses, weaving preparation systems including automatic warp drawing-in and warp-tying machines, as well as Schönherr carpet weaving machines. Asahi Kasei to present Cupro and ROICA innovations at Première Vision
Finally, Asahi Kasei, a diversified Japan based manufacturer of fibres and chemicals, has announced it will exhibit the company’s premium brands, Cupro and ROICA, at the Première Vision trade fair that will take place from 13-15 September in Paris.
The company will present the latest innovations by Cupro and ROICA, as well as a new Trend Book for both brands, featuring new fabrics for the modern wardrobe.
New innovations in the Cupro fabric gallery at Première Vision include new hi-tech double face structures and textures from Viscotex, and Nuovatess’s opalescent jerseys with an original and unique washed silk effect, as well as the Brunello and Pastorelli’s unique ranges of fancy linings created using a dyed Cupro yarn.
