Darn Tough Vermont, a leader the outdoor socks space in North America, held a ribbon cutting ceremony last week for neighbours, partners and friends of the brand to celebrate the opening of its new knitting facility in Waterbury, Vermont, USA.

According to the news website vermontbiz.com, the facility has started producing its first socks, and is all set to be fully up-and-running in the first quarter of 2022. With 30,000 square feet of space customized on the mezzanine in Waterbury, Darn Tough will increase its capacity by over 35%. Darn Tough has taken over part of the former Green Mountain Coffee Roasters plant behind the Waterbury train station.
