Though known as an overseas sourcing show, supply and demand for domestic resources is said to remain strong at Texworld USA. In a post-show attendee survey conducted after the January 2011 edition of Texworld USA, 48% of respondents indicated a desire to meet more domestic resources at the show.

Twenty-three American exhibitors are participating in the July 2011 edition, which opens 19 July at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. In addition to several U.S. based trend services and publishers, the following spinners and knitters are exhibiting at the show, as well as a beading and embellishment specialist.

Buhler Quality Yarns Corp

Buhler Quality Yarns offers luxury yarns made of MicroTENCEL MicroModal, and Supima cotton fibres. The strength and fineness of their fibre selection is said to allow for finer yarns, longer lasting fabrics, reduced pilling, excellent drape, hand and sheen. "They pride themselves on not being for "Fast Fashion" but for manufacturers that strive to create a product that is sustainable throughout every aspect of the manufacturing process and life cycle of the garment," organisers say.

Fessler USA

Fessler USA has announced that their new solar powered manufacturing facility is up and running in Pennsylvania. "Combined with their extensive collection of fabrics made from environmentally friendly fibres and yarns, including TENCEL and Lenzing Modal, and a focus on sustainability and innovation, this facility makes Fessler USA a private label manufacturer of choice for retailers and brands around the world," organiser Messe Frankfurt USA says.

J.H. Textiles, Inc.

J.H. Textiles is exhibiting in the Lenzing Innovation Pavilion at Texworld USA for the first time. They will be featuring a range of Lenzing Modal and MicroModal fabrics in blends with Supima and cotton. J.H. Textiles is a resource for those seeking ultra fine knits, even offering fibre count yarns up to 50/1.

Laguna Fabrics

Los Angeles based Laguna fabrics is said to be a long time favourite of Texworld USA attendees and a destination in the Lenzing Innovation Pavilion. For the July 2011 show, Laguna will be featuring sheers, textures, pointelles and novelty stitches using Lenzing fibres. They will also be promoting their recently added range of sweater knit stitches with coarser count yarns.

Mansfield Textile, Inc.

Mansfield Textile was established in 1996 and is located in their owned 55,000 square feet modern building in Vernon, California.

The company's investment in sixty new knitting machines confirms its ongoing dedication to technical innovation. In addition, its dedication to creativity and quality continues to earn loyalty from many of the most respected brands and retailers in the U.S.A.

Mansfield specializes in TENCEL, Lenzing Modal, rayons, cottons and poly knits.

SG KNITS

SG Knits is positioned to serve customers on the East and West Coasts via its manufacturing facilities in North Carolina and California. The company produces a large variety of circular and warp knit products and is featuring the following at Texworld USA: TENCEL in coloured heather, offered in both 30/1 and 40/1 with and without spandex in fine knits; TENCEL and TENCEL / cotton blended in textured and fine garment dye knit fabrics; MicroModal / Supima cotton in raschel lace knits; and MicroModal with spandex in double knit bottom weights.

Texollini Inc.

Texollini is also exhibiting in the Lenzing Innovation Pavilion at Texworld USA for the first time. This California-based, made in America company boasts state-of-the-art vertical capabilities in knitting, dyeing, finishing and printing. A long-time promoter of Lenzing fibres, it offers Modal, MicroModal, ProModal, TENCEL and MicroTENCEL (with and without Lycra).

"Texollini is remarkably versatile, offering qualities of super sheer tissue weights and textures from their battery of fine gauge (Superfino) equipment to heavy performance weight qualities for active wear, industrial and military applications using Lenzing FR," the show organisers say.

Tuscarora Yarns, Inc.

According to Messe Frankfurt USA, Tuscarora Yarns, a leading yarn manufacturer, plans to create 124 jobs and invest $6.3 million during the next three years in China Grove, North Carolina. "The project was made possible in part by a grant from the One North Carolina Fund. The company is a worldwide leader in the manufacturing of heather and mélange yarns," Messe Frankfurt USA says.  New yarns being featured at Texworld USA will include: Un-Slub 50/50 Polyester/Lenzing Modal; Trifecta Yarn - Vintage Colors; Gnarly Tri-Natural; Vintage Lenzing Modal Rich Tri-Blend; and New VORTEX Yarn.

USA Beading

USA Beading is a domestic fabric embellishment company that is specialized in: Bonnaz embroidery; laser cutting; glitters; trims; transfers; rhinestones; pearls; caviar beading and more. The company's latest patented beading technique is said to enable it decorate garments, accessories and home furnishings affordably, beautifully and extremely quickly. USA Beading is conveniently located in New Jersey.

The eleventh edition of Texworld USA will take place July 19 - 21, 2011 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City.
