YIWU, China’s top exhibition for hosiery and seamless knitting machinery is getting ready for another successful edition with many of the world’s top machine builders already confirming their attendance.

The 13th China (Yiwu) International Exhibition on Hosiery, Knitting, Dyeing & Finishing Machinery (YIWU H&G 2012) will be held from 27-30 November 2012 at Yiwu International Expo Centre, Yiwu City, Zhejiang Province, PR China. The China (Yiwu) International Exhibition on Sewing Machinery & Equipment (YIWU S&G 2012) will be held concurrently.

Leading circular, seamless underwear machinery manufacturers and warp knitting machine builders already confirmed are Santoni, Cixing, Runyuan, Aotu, Rifa, Cosine and Germany's Merz. Other knitting and hosiery machinery manufacturers taking part are Lonati, Aurora, Jinheng, Rosso, Huihao, Shaoxing Royuan, Taiwan Dakong, Yexiao and Shuishan.

In the field of high-end knitting accessories and needles, participants include Memminger-Iro(Taicang), Kern Liebers, Groz-Beckert, Yamagen, Samsung Knitting Needle and Yantex. Braiding machine manufacturers taking part include Switzerland's Jakob Muller, Dongguan Kyang Yhe, Yinglong and Yile and in printing and dyeing and finishing Xinya, France's Heliot, Gold Fai, Korea's Mingguang and Sande have all confirmed participation.

Past exhibitors including Cixing, Aurora, Aotu, Rosso, Shaoxing Royuan, Kern Liebers, Cesare Colosio and BTSR are all said to consider YIWU H&G 2012 as a platform of high importance and will allocate more resources and take more exhibition space at the show this year.

Exhibitors will show the latest high-tech machinery for the production of hosiery and knitted products.

Renowned exhibitors

Having been successfully held for 12 editions, YIWU H&G is said to be considered as an important business barometer for the hosiery and knitting industries as well as the prime exhibition platform for leading machine builders.

According to the organisers, despite the unstable economic situation, the show has received overwhelming response from exhibitors and exhibitor recruitment is currently in full swing. To date, there are more booths reserved than at the same time last year.

Organizers have invited Chemtax Industrial Co. Ltd., China’s largest textile machinery agent, to be a strategic partner of YIWU H&G 2012. Chemtax is the agent of many of Europe’s leading machine builders including Stoll, Lonati and Santoni and represents more than 20 knitting, spinning and dyeing and finishing machinery builders.

Grand event

Since its debut in 2000, YIWU H&G has been held every Nvember in Yiwu. The show aims to provide an exchange platform for advanced technology and products for industry players and was awarded as ‘One of the Top 10 Exhibitions of Zhejiang Province’ in 2007 and 2009. Organisers say the show has become the leading channel for up to date market news, exploring new technology as well as a prime sourcing platform for both local and overseas hosiery and knitting companies.
