Evolution St. Louis has announced it has hired Ellie Rankeillor as a technical design manager. Rankeillor relocated from Alabama to join Evolution St. Louis’ growing team of technical experts at its high-tech knitting facility St Louis.

Rankeillor will be a key member of the development team, help communicate the technology needed to manufacture a wide range of designs and work with designers throughout the development process to ensure their visions come to life, the company explains.

Rankeillor started her career as a design intern for Maria La Rosa in Milan, Italy. After graduating college, she worked as a product design assistant for Alabama Chanin Florence and later as a technical designer for Billy Reid Florence. Rankeillor graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in Milan with a bachelor’s degree in fashion design.

“Ellie will be a fantastic addition to our growing team, and we are excited to have another highly experienced individual join Evolution St. Louis,” said John Elmuccio, COO and co-founder of Evolution St. Louis.
