Excellence in manufacturing with IWTO Congress
Italian leading natural yarn producer Zegna Baruffa Lane Borgosesia supported the 82th International Wool Textile Organisation (IWTO) Congress that took place in Biella last week with its theme ‘Excellence in manufacturing – Heritage for the future’. The company, partnered with the Italian National Committee, provided the business lunch for the international delegations, which attanded the event that ran from 12-14 June.

The annual IWTO Congress is an independent international organisation that operates in the area of the world wool trade and industry regulations since 1927. It is a meeting point for the wool industry including growers, traders, primary processors, spinners, weavers, garment manufacturers and retailers.
Focusing on key industry strategies such as wool's sustainability credentials and new applications for wool in the area of human health and wellness, the IWTO Congress took place in Biella, where, according to Zegna Baruffa, there is a strong manufacturing tradition.
