Eastman Naia returns to Première Vision Paris this week to showcase the numerous applications of Naia Renew staple fibres, demonstrating their transformative potential in fashion. Known for delivering luxurious comfort, fashion-forward style, and a sustainable approach, Naia Renew fibres set the standard for more eco-conscious innovation in textile manufacturing.

Cellulosic acetate, in its usual filament fibre form, is renowned for achieving a signature silky look. With its staple version, Naia adds a new realm of potential. Naia Renew staple is a versatile fibre sourced from 60% sustainably sourced wood pulp and 40% recycled waste material through GRS-certified mass balance accounting, using a low-impact, closed-loop process. Designed for both knitted and woven fabrics, it blends perfectly with premium materials such as wool, cashmere, and linen to create lightweight, breathable textiles. Renowned for its durability and quick-drying properties, Naia Renew staple enhances fabrics with skin-friendly softness that ensures superior comfort. Its low density contributes to a refined, pearl-like lustre while keeping garments lightweight.

At Première Vision, Eastman Naia presents a curated selection of fabrics and garments developed in collaboration with partners and brands, designed to meet the demands of today’s fashion-forward and environmentally conscious consumers. The potential of Naia fibres is already inspiring brands worldwide, evident in the numerous commercial garments and market-ready applications on display at the stand, showcasing how Naia is now a staple in shops and wardrobes everywhere. At Stand 6R30, visitors can explore collections that highlight Naia Renew’s ability to enhance both performance and aesthetic appeal across a variety of applications, under the motto “Sustainable Style, your way.”

Aligned with its core values for mainstreaming circularity, Eastman Naia celebrates its valuable partnerships with leading mills in Europe, recognized for their advanced textile expertise and sustainability initiatives. These collaborations support the shift towards nearshoring, helping to reduce lead times, streamline logistics, and minimize transportation-related emissions, ultimately lowering the overall environmental footprint. Furthermore, they ensure that Naia Renew staple fibres are integrated into high-quality fabrics that meet the needs of today’s fashion.

Among these key partners is Riopele in Portugal, which has adopted Naia Renew fibre to create sustainable spun yarns and high-performance fabrics. A spokesperson from Riopele said: “At Riopele, through the aim of innovation and creativity, we transformed Naia Renew fibre into sustainable spun yarns and created differentiating fabrics with outstanding performance. This partnership with Eastman marks a major milestone in our ongoing commitment to sustainability and showcases how companies from different backgrounds can work together to create a more circular future.”

Similarly, Pakipek from Turkey integrates Naia Renew into its environmentally responsible women’s wear textiles. A representative from Pakipek commented: “Through our collaboration with Eastman, Pakipek utilizes acetate yarn to produce staple fibre products with exceptional softness and enhanced sustainability. This innovative blend delivers superior comfort and supports eco-friendly practices. We take pride in contributing to a more sustainable future for a better world.”

Eastman Naia affirms” “Partnering with leading mills like Riopele, Pakipek, and many more allows us to bring Naia’s vision to life on a global scale. Together, we are creating high-quality, innovative textiles that combine performance, aesthetics, and responsibility, paving the way for a more circular future.”
