Interfilière Lyon, the leading trade fair for lingerie and swimwear materials and accessories that takes place from 9-11 July 2016 in Lyon, has launched an Evolution trend guide for Autumn-Winter 17/18 season.
The themes in this guide illustrate the longings and aspirations of modern women, the show organisers report. The latest trends aim to highlight the femininity and the state of balance between the body and the soul, paying attention to both comfort and elegance.
Enrich
Enirch is a theme that features the luxurious textures of silks and velvets and an opulence of easy to wear items, such as pyjamas, robes, tops, shawls and kimonos.
The theme aims to cultivate the art of beautiful heritage, a legacy of know-how, artisanal details, old traditions, combining it with an expression of the new chic. The idea is to accentuate grace and glamour in a context of resolutely modern dressing codes.
Discover
Discover is a dialogue of cultures, an exchange of beautiful traditions without rules and boundaries, organisers report. Textures, colours and effects are melted into a sympathetic modern style reminiscent of Arts and Crafts.
A multitude of effects and textures, padded surfaces, macramés, rustic yarn details and crafted embroidery mix into modern end-uses and give the wardrobe new elements to play with. The special focus is on new knitwear textures and interesting developments for printed and double jersey knits.
Indulge
Indulge invites to dive into a universe of ultra-reined true lingerie: touches of satin, silks and lace, the delicacy of small items of delight, the stereotype lingerie wardrobe of dreams. Slip-dresses, camisoles, non-padded bras, bodies, designed to be light, transparent, modest, chic and fragile.
But it is also a feast of new technologies that allows an abundance of super comfort and luxury without seams, such as bonding and other avant-garde treatments, according to organisers. The theme is dedicated to lingerie, which becomes lighter, accessible, and easy to wear.
Express
A variation on the theme of fetichism with all its dark shades and sexy silhouettes and strapping, the theme Express finds inspirations in clubbing and other erotic indulgences, now translated into the newest look for cut-and-sew shapewear and for high voltage athleisure.
The corset is the essential inspiration, both as an independent look and as an addition to a modern part of the body-conscious wardrobe. The theme celebrates high precision work, seduction, as well as comfortable support. The fabrics used are fabrics with high modulus and technology, transformed to look super erotic and seductive while being very functional.
