Premiere Vision New York brought together a vibrant mix of fashion professionals, showcasing the latest trends and innovations in the industry. From the moment the doors opened, attendees were treated to an unparalleled experience of discovery and inspiration for the Autumn-Winter 25-26 season. The exhibition floor buzzed with energy as 2194 visitors, including fashion and accessories brand managers, buyers, designers, production managers, journalists and students explored a diverse array of 183 exhibitors specialising in high-quality materials, textiles, accessories, and manufacturing solutions.

Feedback on the new Tribeca venue was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees praising the elevated and luxurious feel of the environment and the surrounding windows peering through the city.

“Once again, the show was a success and an event that is becoming increasingly important in the American market. We are grateful to the French Consul for attending, which highlights the strength of the global communities of France and the US coming together. This collaboration builds professional and business relationships that uplift the bond of fashion between our two cultures,” commented Florence Rousson, President of Première Vision Management Board.

The seminars and panel discussions held throughout the two-day event further enriched the experience, covering pressing topics such as men’s tailored suits, AI fashion design, and solutions to material circularity. Esteemed speakers, including sustainability consultant Liz Alessi and Peerless CEO Dan Orwig, shared their knowledge and vision, leaving the audience inspired and informed on the future of fashion.

“The experience at PV NY was so inspiring! There was great attendance and a genuine interest in the fashion community to learn more about how to turn their brands circular. I love speaking about creating sustainable solutions for brands and was proud to include Recircled in person at this edition,” added Liz Alessi, Sustainability Consultant.

“I am happy to see the way we are shaping the show – unprecedented matchmaking between the offer and the demand. While we keep our regular visiting brands attending the show, we also gather new and upcoming brands by encouraging flexibility amongst our exhibitors. PV New York is able to provide minimum quantities, local manufacturing, and sustainable solutions for our young brands to blossom in tomorrow’s market,” said Thierry Langlais, VP of Operations.

The PV Trend & Color Talk, led by fashion consultant Celine Khawam, provided contemporary insights into the key messages and perspectives of the Autumn-Winter 25-26 season. Khawam notes that this season encourages creatives to explore the extremes and the intense contrasts between natural and artificial hues. During The PV Eco-Innovation Seminar, Celine reiterated that environmental and social challenges require brands to go beyond the status quo and embrace an innovative vision that covers the multiple stages of a product’s life cycle, from its origin to its end-of-life. As per usual, the session drew an overflowing crowd, reflecting the industry’s enthusiasm for PV’s expertise in concepts, trends, designs, and colours.

The newly instated ‘a better way’ program highlighted 68 exhibitors who adhered to stringent criteria of durability, traceability, social initiatives, production site impacts, and product composition. This year saw a notable increase in exhibitors participating in the program, reflecting the growing industry dedication to truly eco-conscious practices.

Many buyers expressed keen interest in alternative solutions for fabric, accessory, and manufacturing sourcing. One example among dozens of new features: visitors were particularly intrigued by the innovative use of banana tree leaves as a fabric, a concept presented by the exhibitor Green Whisper. Specialising in materials derived from co-products of the agri-food industry, Green Whisper’s approach not only diversifies supplies but also helps reduce pressure on arable land. The enthusiastic reception of these sustainable solutions highlights the ongoing shift towards eco-responsibility in the fashion industry.

This edition was the debut of PV New York’s Deadstock Booth, which proved to have high engagement by an overflow of buyers. Through PV’s ‘a better way’ program, participating exhibitors showcased their deadstock fabrics, inspiring attendees to work with alternative material. The unused fabric that fashion brands would otherwise discard, provides an opportunity to reduce environmental impact and create unique products. The enthusiasm around this program and the deadstock booth underscored the growing commitment within the industry to innovative reuse.

One of the standout highlights of the event was the rooftop cocktail party on the first evening. Held in a chic, open-air venue, this networking event provided a perfect backdrop for over 250 industry professionals to connect, exchange ideas, and form valuable partnerships.

The cocktail party featured an exclusive auction of upcycled accessories, created from luxury fashion materials, adding an element of excitement and sustainability to the evening. Attendees were not only able to bid on unique items but also engage in meaningful discussions about the future of eco-responsible fashion.

Premiere Vision New York continues to solidify its reputation as a must-attend event for fashion professionals. The success of this July edition underscores the show’s pivotal role in driving innovation and fostering collaboration within the industry.

PV New York would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all exhibitors, attendees, and partners for making this event a phenomenal success and looks forward to welcoming everyone back for the next edition, happening on 14-15 January 2025, at Tribeca 360.
