Säntis and its Italian yarn partner Marchi & Fildi will present a 100% Italian made knitwear range designed by students in Biella and based on RCO100 Cento 100% recycled cotton yarns at Pitti Filati in Florence this week (January 28-30).
The proprietary Säntis RCO100 Refine Forward recycling technology creates textile grade recycled cotton that can be spun in 100% composition into yarns in fine counts of up to Ne 30/1.
The recycling process employs no water or chemicals to refine the cotton fibre while retaining the original molecular structure of the fibre for an authentic natural cotton hand feel.
RCO100 recycled cotton yarns also come in open-end yarn constructions and can be blended with other preferred fibres.
Säntis is at stand C11/C13 on the ground floor of the pavilion at Pitti Filati.
