Bridgedale, a market leader in technical outdoor socks, has opted to incorporate innovative new Lycra Dry Technology in its latest range, Trail RUN socks. The newly launched technology from The Lycra Company brings additional functionality and comfort to the trusted sock brand’s offering.
The addition of Lycra Dry Technology ensures a long-lasting fit, shape retention and comfort with the added benefit of dryness, thanks to its unique moisture wicking technology. The Bridgedale Trail RUN sock range is aimed at consumers who enjoy the challenge of trial running or adventurous outdoor activities. It offers wearers supreme performance and comfort, allowing them to perform to the best of their ability without having to worry about their apparel – as highlighted within the new range’s marketing activations and ads, which feature real consumer testers.
“We have been working with The Lycra Company for many years and their consumer driven innovations such as the new Lycra Dry Technology helps us to develop high functioning applications for our customers, giving Bridgedale wearers the confidence that they can trust in the performance of our products and brand,” commented Bridgedale’s Managing Director, Mark Brennan.
Knitted into the Bridgedale Trial RUN range, the new yarn combination of Lycra fibre and a multi-channel polyamide covering, sits on the inside of the sock where it is closest to the skin, helping to draw moisture away from the skin, keeping the foot and leg dry and comfortable for longer. Made from a non-hazardous material, which limits possible skin irritation, the yarn provides close-fitting comfort and long-lasting performance, wash after wash.
The new Bridgedale Trial RUN range is designed, knitted and packed by Bridgedale in the United Kingdom, is available to consumers from Bridgedale stockists now. The new range has also just won a Trail Running Magazine Award 2021, which is testament to its quality and performance.
