The 56th edition of Filo, the yarns and fibres exhibition, is scheduled to be held on the 29th and 30th of September 2021 at Mico-Milan Convention Centre. To enter the exhibition halls, pre-registration is required. Only Green Pass holders can enter the exhibition.

Both pre-registration and the Green Pass are measures provided for under national law issued by the Italian government. The regulations, together with the actions already carried out by Filo, in collaboration with Fiera Milano, will ensure that the 56th Filo edition is held in total safety for all participants.

“Filo’s appointment is very awaited, since it represents the comeback of a physically held fair for high-quality products, set at the beginning of textile production supply chain, with items, materials and textile solutions which are the basis of the whole production supply chain for apparel and furniture industry,” the organisers say.

Additionally, the 56th Filo edition is characterised by important innovations both in relation to the concept and the exhibition layout.

The main innovations are the creation of specific areas dedicated to sustainability – where FiloFlow will play a central role – and to fibres and knitwear. “The new Networking Area is something to report. This area will host the ‘confrontations’ dialogues’, which are brief workshops held by some protagonists of the sector where current issues will be faced during the two days of the Exhibition,” the organisers add.

The 56th edition of Filo, will be held at MiCo, a cutting-edge exhibition area, particularly functioning and located in one of the most innovative districts in Milan. The location is easy to reach by tube or by car, with fast connections to railways stations and Milan’s airports.
