The 64th edition of Filo, the International Exhibition of Yarns and Fibres, will be held on Tuesday 23 and Wednesday 24 September 2025 at Fiera Milano Rho – Hall 14. The move to the new venue is a strategic step in the fair’s broader mission to strengthen its global positioning and support continued growth.

The decision to relocate from its traditional venue reflects Filo’s aim to better meet the needs of its international audience. The expansive and better structured layout of Fiera Milano Rho offers an enhanced platform for exhibitors and visitors alike. It also allows the fair to benefit from increased visibility and accessibility, particularly as Milan prepares to host global visitors ahead of the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics in 2026.

Filo’s inclusion in the IT EX Association – a network of leading Italian international trade fairs – further signals its rising stature in the global textile events calendar.

Commenting on the move, Filo Manager Paolo Monfermoso said: “The dates of September 23 and 24 allow Filo to fit into the international trade fair calendar in the most suitable way for companies, respecting the timing of a sector that is upstream in the supply chain. The choice to bring the fair to Fiera Milano Rho also allows us to better respond to the needs of exhibitors and visitors, integrating perfectly into a week that sees exhibitions linked to many phases of the textile supply chain taking place in Milan, attracting numerous buyers from all over the world.”

The 64th edition will continue Filo’s mission to showcase textile innovation and facilitate global sourcing, positioning itself as a key event in the autumn trade fair season.
