The leading international trade fairs Techtextil and Texprocess will strengthen their offering for the upcoming edition, set to take place from 21 to 24 April 2026. A restructured hall layout, additional product areas, and expanded content formats will enhance international business opportunities and knowledge sharing. These developments aim to address the evolving needs of the textile and apparel industries, focusing on sustainability, digitalisation, and innovation. The early-booking offer for exhibitors is available until 12 March 2025.

Amid high energy prices, consumer restraint, and reduced investment, Techtextil and Texprocess provide a strong platform for industry players to explore new opportunities.

“New technologies and innovative materials hold potential for the future. At Techtextil and Texprocess, we support companies in realising this potential and seizing international market opportunities. New business partners and market access are the key,” explains Olaf Schmidt, Vice President Textiles & Textile Technologies at Messe Frankfurt.

A revised hall layout aims to foster synergies across the textile value chain. Texprocess will be situated in Hall 8.0, directly linked to Techtextil’s ‘Textile Production Technologies’ in Hall 12.0 and ‘Performance Apparel Textiles’ in Hall 9.0.

Recognising the importance of fresh talent and new ideas, the event will place greater emphasis on start-ups, fostering connections between innovative solutions and established industry leaders. Dedicated networking opportunities for young professionals will also be featured.

Texprocess will continue to set benchmarks in digitalisation, automation, and artificial intelligence within the textile processing industry. As the global hub for sewing, cutting, and finishing technologies, the fair will showcase pioneering solutions that respond to the industry's rapid transformation.

'New, pioneering technologies are presented here in an international industry environment. Texprocess is the number one address for all companies wanting to position themselves internationally and explore future perspectives,’ says Elgar Straub, Managing Director, VDMA Textile Care, Fabrics and Leather Technologies.

The strong connection between Techtextil and Texprocess remains a key advantage, with 72 per cent of Techtextil visitors in 2024 also attending Texprocess. Together, the two fairs provide a comprehensive overview of the textile and apparel supply chain.

Techtextil 2026 will spotlight innovations in natural fibres, functional textiles, and textile chemicals and dyes. Demand for sustainable materials continues to rise across industries, and Techtextil will highlight developments in its ‘Nature Performance’ area in Hall 9.1. Performance Apparel Textiles will receive its own dedicated section in Hall 9.0, featuring advanced materials for aerospace, firefighting, and sportswear. A special showcase, ‘Performance Apparels on Stage,’ will offer visitors an interactive experience with these innovative products.

For the first time, Techtextil 2026 will introduce a dedicated segment for textile chemicals and dyes. Located alongside Fibres & Yarns and Performance Apparel Textiles, this new section will create valuable synergies by connecting suppliers, manufacturers, and end users.

Techtextil and Texprocess will take place from 21 to 24 April 2026.
