Groz-Beckert will be exhibiting its selected knitting and felting needles at Exintex 2014 exhibition that takes place from 11-14 March 2014 in Puebla, Mexico, where a broad spectrum of new products from the textile, apparel and thread industry will be on display.

Circular knitting

In the field of knitting focus is placed on the circular knitting needles litespeed and Vo-LC. The use of the litespeed needle is said to result in saving costs, conservation of resources and increased performance.

The new Vo-LC needle is available for body seamless machines and large diameter circular knitting machines in finest gauges. Perfect in precision, according to the manufacturer, the needle allows creating a loop structure that is absolutely even, due to its tight tolerances, narrower than the diameter of a human hair.

Nonwovens

Groz-Beckert presents the new EcoStar needle that is said to be a real highlight for almost all requirements. In comparison with standard needles it offers users an improved surface quality of the end product and longer service life combined with reduced energy consumption, the company reports.

Another topic is the GEBECON needle, which is said to provide a good surface quality of the end product plus best possible bending resistance properties. Due to its high stability and flexibility, the felting needle is suited for extreme challenges, such as very high production speeds.

Increased productivity

The innovative needle geometry LoopControl of chain stitch and lockstitch needles helps to form perfect loops. The needles with distinctive roundings are said to be gentle on the material and cause less needle breakage and damage of needle points.

Groz-Beckert also holds available needles for fine and finest materials or for material that is extremely difficult to sew. According to the company, the special application needles SAN 10 and SAN 10 XS guarantee higher quality through best possible protection of the sewn material and contribute to the increased productivity.
