Good expectations as YIWU opens

The 14th China International Exhibition on Hosiery, Knitting, Dyeing and Finishing Machinery and the 3rd China International Exhibition on Automatic Garment Machinery and Sewing Equipment, YIWU TEX 2013, are taking place from 19-22 November at Yiwu International Expo Centre, Yiwu City, Zhejiang Province, China. The four day exhibition has attracted 200 knitting and automatic garment machinery exhibitors from 11 countries and regions. It is expected to receive 12,000 visitors and about ten delegation groups from local and overseas. With the aim of specialisation, marketization and brand building, the exhibition strives to provide the strongest trading platform for knitting and automatic garment machinery.

The 14th China International Exhibition on Hosiery, Knitting, Dyeing and Finishing Machinery and the 3rd China International Exhibition on Automatic Garment Machinery and Sewing Equipment, YIWU TEX 2013, are taking place from 19-22 November at Yiwu International Expo Centre, Yiwu City, Zhejiang Province, China.

With the support from The People's Government of Zhejiang Province, YIWU TEX 2013 gains the strong support and participation of local and overseas exhibitors in knitting, hosiery, seamless underwear and automatic garment machinery industry.

Future trends

Apart from the showcase of high-level equipment, YIWU TEX 2013 organises a series of professional, high-end concurrent activities to present the latest market trends, explore the future development and get the advice on upgrading and transformation.

These include ‘Intimate Wear Design & Trends Forum 2014-2015’, ‘The Latest Innovation & Technology in Garment Finishing on Water & Energy Saving’, and ‘Online Marketing & E-commerce for Garment Enterprise’, which took place on 20 November.

‘New Underwear Dyeing Green Times, No Pollution’, and ‘Application & Trends of Functional Fabric on Sportswear & Underwear’ are taking place on 21 November.

Overwhelming support

Buyer quality is the crucial factor contributing to the success of an exhibition, organisers report. The show continues to gain industry players' appreciation and recognition, with about ten key textile associations confirmed to organise buyer delegations and invite their members to visit, including Hangzhou Textile Industry Association, Eastern Silk Market China, Hanning Hosiery Industry Association, Pujiang County Knitting, Sewing Machine Development Club.
