Leading Italian company BTSR has launched UNIFEEDER2 an innovative solution which the company says redefines the state-of-art in yarn storage feeding technology and which is destined to dramatically impact the socks, hosiery and knitted textiles sectors.
UNIFEEDER2 is based on the new concept multi-patented ‘Yarn Anti-twist System’ which BTSR says is able to guarantee total combined yarn feeding and storage control, representing the first ‘positive storage’ feeder concept introduced to the market.
A jump ahead
According to BTSR, UNIFEEDER2 comes with innovative and unique features and high-tech functions and represents a drastic jump ahead compared with the traditional storage feeding technological offer.
New concept working principles such as the BTSR patented ‘Yarn Anti-twist System’, the Anti-Gravitational Floating Ring and the Output Constant Tension Self-Adaptive Technology represent radical product innovations, the company says, bringing unique benefits in terms of production quality and repeatability (constant size, yarn misplating and breakage prevention) as well as unlimited styles programming.
All-in-One single device
BTSR adds that UNIFEEDER2’s unique technology includes input yarn breakages and knots detection control as well as yarn tears compensation, providing real-time machine stop signalling and preventive needles breakage, yarn waste and second-rate production.
The company emphasises the fact that UNIFEEDER2 is not just a storage feeder. BTSR Sales General Manager Angelo Rizzo explains: “UNIFEEDER2 is much more than a simple storage feeder, by providing advanced unique functions like ‘Yarn Graduation Compression’ capability for technical textile applications, sock leg and seamless garments. The possibility to real-time measure the yarn consumption (LFA) and self-compensate its variation (i.e. due to fluff accumulation in the yarn finger) are unique features on the market.”
More technology in less space
According to BTSR, the ‘All in One’ device features ‘incredibly’ minimized size and weight (up to less 50% then traditional storage feeder), allowing the simplest and cost-saving installation configurations (i.e. single ring).
Plug & Play
A ‘plug and play’ solution, low energy consumption, unlimited styles programming possibilities, advanced display for easy data setting and monitoring.
Universally retrofitable
Last but not least, UNIFEEDER2 is universally retrofitable on all types of socks, pantyhose, seamless and circular knitting machine brands by working as a ‘stand alone’ device with direct connection to the machine.
Fast return on investment
“UNIFEEDER2 represents a high-profitable investment for textile operators who will implement this solution in their factory. Every Production Manager will be able to measure the correlated fast ‘Return on Investment’ (ROI) in terms of production efficiency, cost saving and machine maintenance,” says Angelo Rizzo.
“UNIFEEDER2 represents a technological revolution destined to change the ‘Game Rules’ and supply an epochal change in textile market technological offer as well as in the future textile operators’ demand.”
Innovation leader
Innovation, continuous development and customer oriented strategies are what BTSR says make it stand out from its market competitors as well as the great attention it devotes to the development of solutions meeting the real needs of the market.
The company is certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 standards, meaning that its production processes comply with the company’s Quality System. All suppliers are tested and selected and, at the same time, all the materials used in the production department are checked and guaranteed against any kind of defect.
BTSR says its research and development team includes a number of experts and specialists and no matter if the inputs come directly from the market, or if the development of a new technology originates from an idea from its R&D department, the new product will always meet the concrete needs of users.
BTSR represents a great value all over the world thanks to a widespread international distribution network, covering over 30 countries, capable of assuring a qualified service throughout the major markets, from Europe to North/South America and all Far East.
