The Hosiery Association’s 4th Annual Legwear Industry Golf Tournament will Benefit NoColdFeet™ and Working Wardrobes

The Hosiery Association (THA) and event title sponsor, Groz-Beckert USA, present the Legwear Industry’s 4th Annual Golf Tournament, Wednesday, October 15 at Bermuda Run Country Club in Bermuda Run, NC. Registration begins at 9:00 am, lunch is at 11:00 am, and play begins at 11:30 am with a shotgun start. The awards dinner will be held at 4:00 pm. Registration is available at THA’s website, www.HosieryAssociation.com

Proceeds from the golf tournament will support THA’s NoColdFeet™ charitable initiative which donates legwear and underwear to non-profit service groups. THA recently announced that this year its NoColdFeet™ program will partner with Working Wardrobes, a non-profit organization that provides its clients with career counseling and business attire appropriate for interviews.

“This year’s event should again attract solid participation,” says THA president, Sally Kay. “We are pleased Working Wardrobes will benefit from it. Legwear is an important component of acceptable business attire. With our industry’s assistance, Working Wardrobes will ensure its clients look polished and business-like for their interviews and make that critical favorable first impression.”

Says Gary Dowda of Groz-Beckert USA, the event’s title sponsor, “The Legwear Industry has always been very community-oriented and generous.

We are pleased to again sponsor this year’s golf tournament and support our customers’ efforts to make a difference for people in need.”

Groz-Beckert USA manufactures high performance needles and parts for textile machinery.

Other event sponsors include Primaloft, Fiber & Yarn Products, and Unifi, Inc. “Our members and friends are looking forward to spending the afternoon at beautiful Bermuda Run-- networking, golfing, and helping others,” says Kay.
