DyStar says it is continuing to move ahead of expectations in spite of difficult market conditions as it returns to profitability. Overall sales revenue increased by approximately 15% over the same period last year.

DyStar says it is continuing to move ahead of expectations in spite of difficult market conditions as it returns to profitability. Overall sales revenue increased by approximately 15% over the same period last year.

"We wouldn't have achieved such good progress without the continuous and dedicated efforts from our employees or the strong support from our shareholders," commented Steve Barron, CEO of the DyStar Group.

"And we have made a number of changes along the way as they are essential in order to keep the business sustainable in this competitive market environment," said Mr Barron.

The most recent change project has been the appointment of a management board to focus management effort, and a re-alignment of senior management responsibilities to improve efficiency and make best use of management expertise and experience. Necessary restructuring is on-going and on track to make the company even more profitable and efficient.

"Known as an industrial leader in ecological and environmental matters, the DyStar Group continues to invest in sustainable, innovative products and services. It has introduced several new products into the global market during the last 12 months, and conducted a number of ecology and testing seminars," a statement from the company today said.

Business growth in Europe has been a major achievement this year. ITMA 2011 in Barcelona will provide another springboard for the introduction of new products and concepts to the textile world.

Formed in 1995 as a colouration specialist for the textile industry, DyStar had transformed itself into a solution provider, offering customers a complete range of colorants, auxiliaries, as well as state of the art colour communication and textile testing.

"The company's team of well-trained staff and modern service labs in major markets ensure that customers all over the world receive fast and expert technical service," the statement read.

The DyStar group moved its global headquarters to Singapore in 2010.
