The Dornbirn GFC Innovation Days return for their fifth year, providing a platform for startups and young companies to present their groundbreaking ideas. The event, scheduled for 10-12 September 2025, will take place in Dornbirn, Austria, offering participants the opportunity to pitch their innovations in front of key industry figures, investors, and global experts.

Applications are now open, with a deadline of 31 March 2025. Selected startups will gain exclusive access to over 100 expert presentations, live pitch opportunities, networking events, and a dedicated exhibition space. The event also includes free entry to the Dornbirn GFC gala and speaker networking evening.

The 2025 event will focus on several key topics, including carbon stewardship, fibre innovations, workwear and protective textiles, and cross-industry synergies. Startups and early-stage innovators working in bio-based, recycled, and carbon-negative fibres, smart textiles, high-performance materials, and sustainable nonwoven solutions are encouraged to apply. Researchers and entrepreneurs with disruptive solutions, as well as companies seeking visibility and new partnerships, are also invited to participate.

As part of the Innovation Days, participants will compete for the prestigious Innovation Days Award, providing further recognition and industry exposure. The event serves as a bridge between startups and established industry players, creating opportunities for collaboration and investment.

Dornbirn GFC is also organising a series of international events throughout 2025, including Dornbirn GFC Asia in Korea on 3-4 April, the CRETE 2025 International Conference in Greece from 27-31 May, and a collaboration with Techtextil India on 18 November in Mumbai.
