Building on the success of its inaugural edition, the Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles, and Textile Technologies (VIATT) is set to open its doors once again to the dynamic ASEAN textile market from 26 – 28 February. As a comprehensive trade platform encompassing the entire textile value chain, the show aims to help industry players unlock new opportunities aligned with the latest trends.

“Vietnam’s strategic location, competitive labour costs, and commitment to sustainability and innovation have made it an attractive production hub for textile manufacturers and fashion brands, as they seek to diversify their supply chains,” said Ms Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd. “With a fringe programme and new product zones promoting sustainability and digitalisation in materials, design, technologies, and regulations, VIATT’s second edition aims to advance Vietnam’s position as a leading textile and apparel manufacturing hub.”

European and international offerings expand

Spanning 15,000 sqm of exhibition space, the fair will host over 450 exhibitors from 24 countries. The newly introduced European Zone will showcase high-end textiles from France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland, Türkiye, and the UK. Buyers will have access to premium British fabric mills, featuring brands such as Abraham Moon & Sons, Alfred Brown, Harris Tweed Hebrides, and Pongees.

The Econogy Hub will highlight sustainable solutions, including exhibitors who have passed the Econogy Check. Notable exhibitors include:

- Covation Biomaterials (USA): Offering Sorona, a partially plant-based polymer for sustainable textiles.

- Nice Dyeing Factory (Hong Kong): Specialising in yarn spinning, knitting, dyeing, and finishing services.

-Yongdo Velvet (Korea): Innovating in water-washable micro poly velvet.

- AiDLab (Hong Kong): Developing AI-driven textile material inspection.

- Rovitex Asia (Thailand): Advancing textile lamination solutions for various industries.
