The Lycra Company has issued statement to reassure customers and provide an update on its actions in response to the COVID 19 crisis. Dave Trerotola, CEO of The Lycra Company, shared the following with customers and suppliers earlier this week:

“As the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation continues to evolve, the Lycra Company is keen to reassure customers and provide an update on its actions in response to this severe global health crisis.

As a first step, the company has implemented preventative safety measures at all its sites and has detailed contingency plans in place, which can be activated at short notice.

Lycra understands that the reliability and quality assurance of its product supply is essential to many of its customers’ businesses and remains committed to supporting its customers’ production requirements, enabled by its vast network and global footprint. The company continues to be fully operational with all its plants fulfilling orders and making shipments and there are no interruptions at this time.

Since the COVID-19 outbreak is a rapidly evolving situation, Lycra will continue to monitor the developments and adapt its practices as required to minimise disruption and continue to support its customers.

Dedicated teams are already in place to help and work with customers who may have any specific needs or require additional support. Customers may contact the support teams at [email protected] , or can get in touch with their local representative for more information.”
