07 September 2007 - Is it a print?
Fine Gauge Electronic Double Jersey: This collection of fine gauge double jersey jacquards boasts the question. With clarity of design, power stretch and with a fabric weight of less than 100 g/m², we believe will herald a new generation of fabrics.
07 September 2007 – Power Stretch
Monarch’s 50 gauge single jersey and 40 gauge interlock fabrics support the latest trend for lightweight fabrics with power and recovery keeping them at the forefront of technology. Each fabric is form fitting, sensing body position and providing maximum support, softness and comfort. The high Lycra content in these fabrics gives the garment excellent 4 way stretch, unrestricted freedom of movement and recovery, for a broad range of activities. Monarch has introduced ‘Chlorine Resist’ and ‘Black’ Lycra to their range of fabrics.
06 September 2007 - 50 Gauge: ‘NEW’ semi transparent
This collection takes inspiration from the graceful structure of antique statues and elegant timelessness. Drapery & controlled stretch for gentle folds & body wrapping garments. Faded colours with satiny iridescent overtones oozes a sense of well-being, comfort and cocooning. Increased Elastomeric content, up to 40% for shape retention and performance represents a growing demand from consumers for garments that are thin, light; offering maximum comfort and freedom of movement, putting them in a league of their own. Fabrics are more compact for moulding and to use as print bases, having more sheen with a drape that befits either underwear or outerwear with a sensual feel.
06 September 2007 - Intarsia Jacquard Mattress Ticking
The ultimate in sleep technology; soft, clean and colourful with the added advantage of 4 way stretch. Responding to our customer’s quest for the next fabric, we have introduced more colours into weft knitted mattress ticking providing a completely new product. As ‘Long Float’ jacquards become more popular, the technicalities of knitting such a fabric creates its own problems, however, by using the intarsia jacquard facility within the Monarch Design system the designer has complete control of each floating yarn. In keeping with the trends, flowers have a relief, almost plastic roundness about them creating a 3D ‘artificial garden’.
02 September 2007 - Automotive NEW Ripple Jacquards
First time a weft knit ripple jacquard has been used in a car. ‘JUST LAUNCHED’ Toyota Auris: 80 / 90% of the interior fabric is double jersey ripple fabric made on a Monarch machine and over 30% in the ‘Nissan ‘Note’. ‘NEW’ Mock Lace: Suzuki Ignis has ‘Pluto’& the ‘R’ Wagon has ‘Venus’ made on Monarch machine. Volkswagen Passat: has our SECPL Plush velour fabric
