Shima Seiki Programmer

Applications are invited from experienced programmers with the ability to use the Shima Seiki SDS One Apex 3 system to develop and grade new styles to a high degree of accuracy and measurement. Line writing experience will be beneficial to grade garments from prototypes through to production from initial fabrics.

An eye for detail is essential as you will have responsibility for checking the quality of the knitwear produced. You must be well organised, be able to work well as part of a team and have a flexible attitude towards multi-skilled training.

Johnstons of Elgin knitwear production facility is located in the historic town of Hawick in the beautiful Scottish Borders, known for its rich textiles heritage and the highest quality cashmere and woollen products.
