AWI Acting CEO appointed
The Chairman of Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) Wal Merriman has announced that Stuart McCullough has been appointed as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AWI. The appointment takes effect immediately and Brenda McGahan leaves the company next Wednesday 17th March and will continue to assist in the transition arrangements. The Chairman of Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) Wal Merriman has announced that Stuart McCullough has been appointed as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AWI.
The appointment takes effect immediately and Brenda McGahan leaves the company next Wednesday 17th March and will continue to assist in the transition arrangements.
AWI says that Stuart is well known to Australian woolgrowers and has been with AWI for 9 years and has worked in a range of roles within the wool industry all his working life.
Mr Merriman said the AWI board has begun an extensive recruitment process for suitable candidates for the permanent position of CEO.
