KnittingIndustry.com is about to launch a Chinese language version of its website. By the end of January 2009, KnittingIndustry.com will be available in both traditional and simplified Chinese languages and will be fully localised.
To give Chinese readers access to its unique content and help advertisers reach the Chinese knitting and hosiery industries, KnittingIndustry.com will be implementing a unique translation solution which will allow accurate translation including technical terms.
KnittingIndustry.com, which is free to use and is updated daily, will offer readers in PR China, Taiwan and other East Asian countries its unique daily content in local languages. “When we post daily news items and features, readers in China and other parts of East Asia will be able to read them in their own language in real time”, Billy Hunter, editor of KnittingIndustry.com said.
“KnittingIndustry.com’s Chinese translation solution will also include optimization and integration with China’s leading search engines, which means that advertisers can be assured that their message really does get to key personnel and decision makers in the knitting and hosiery industries in China and the surrounding region”, Hunter added.
“China has been the main market for the world’s leading knitting machine builders for a number of years now with some companies shipping more than 90% of their production there annually. It is natural therefore that we should offer localisation.”
“Our translation solution is now being implemented and tested and will be ready by the end of January. Advertisers, who have been made aware of the solution in advance, have responded very positively and we look forward to working with them in 2009”, Hunter added.
