Leading computerized flat knitting machine manufacturer Shima Seiki of Japan will be taking part at the SIMATEX exhibition in Buenos Aires, Argentina next month, where it will show some of its latest advanced knitting technology.
Shima will exhibit a wide range of its products, including new proposals in seam-free WholeGarment knitting technology which could offer an interesting alternative to the current labour-intensive knitwear manufacturing sector in South America.
Also on display will be the latest version of Japanese company’s SDS-ONE APEX3 3D design system. APEX3 is at the core of Shima’s Total Fashion System which offers comprehensive support of the knit production process from planning and production to sales promotion, as well as the capability for Virtual Sampling. Ultra-realistic simulation allows Virtual Sampling to minimize the costly time and resource consuming sample making process.
Exhibited technology
Shima will show the following technology at the Buenos Aires show in May:
- MACH2S (Wholegarment knitting machine)
- SIR122-SV (Computerized flat knitting machine)
- SSR112-SV (Computerized flat knitting machine)
