Flat knitting machine builder Stoll has launched a new version of its M1plus® pattern software, version 5.1, which it says offers many new highlights for knitting technicians, including high speed Argyle programming.
Stoll is especially keen to point out the new Argyle tool which allows the generation of Argyle diamonds with or without fancy stitches (rakers) automatically. As a consequence, drawing the diamonds manually is no longer necessary.
In addition the diamonds get different colours automatically and the jacquard for the fancy stitches is also generated automatically. Stoll says the Argyle tool is said to deliver a complete pattern element and the user avoids editing errors and saves up to 95% of time for programming the Argyle pattern.
A further highlight of the new 5.1 version is the knitting-in and out with Stoll’s patented split knot. This is a special technique for knitting-in the yarns with intarsia, now directly supported by the M1plus®. The new version M1plus® software is also said to have many more innovations.
