Knitting machine builders ready for regional shows

Italy’s knitting machine builders feature heavily in the news this week with Brescia as the source. This morning sock knitting machine builder Busi Giovanni announced it has expanded the applications of its Idea Twin Layer machine with the production of a sock called Thermo-Twin which is said to offer the wearer high levels of thermal insulation and comfort.

Italy’s knitting machine builders feature heavily in the news this week with Brescia as the source.

This morning sock knitting machine builder Busi Giovanni announced it has expanded the applications of its Idea Twin Layer machine with the production of a sock called Thermo-Twin which is said to offer the wearer high levels of thermal insulation and comfort.

“Thanks to the consistent quantity of air trapped between the two layers and the obtained micro-cushions, such sock guarantees an extremely high thermal insulation, what makes it absolutely perfect for any outdoor purposes,” Busi explained. See Thermo-Twin technology from Busi for the full story.

Santoni Group

Meanwhile leading Italian knitting machine producer Santoni Group reports it will be showing a wide range of machines for the production of knitwear, socks and seamlesswear at this year’s Inlegmash in Moscow. Machines on show will include models from the group’s Sangiacomo socks knitting machines and Mec-Mor open panel circular knitting machines, as well as its leading Santoni brand circular knitting machines for seamless garments. The company will also be taking part in this year’s Texpo Eurasia Exhibition (TUYAP), which takes place in Istanbul later this month. This time however, the focus is on its signature Santoni seamless technologies – see Santoni seamless innovations on show in Istanbul for more information.

Terrot

In Jacquard focus for Terrot in Istanbul we hear how German circular knitting machine builder Terrot will be exhibiting at the forthcoming Texpo Eurasia 2014 in Istanbul together with its local partner Erko Sinai Ürünler Mümessillik Tic. A.Åž., where it will showcase a single jersey electronic jacquard machine model SCC548 34“ in gauge E8 as well as a double jersey electronic jacquard machine model UCC572 30“ in gauge E28.

Groz-Beckert

Groz-Beckert, the leading provider of industrial machine needles, will be exhibiting its selected knitting and felting needles at the 12th edition of Indonesia International Textile and Garment Machinery & Accessories Exhibition (INDO inter TEX) that will take place from 23-26 April in Jakarta, Indonesia. Groz-Beckert will also be exhibiting its selected knitting and felting needles at the Vietnam Saigon Fabric and Garment Accessories Expo Saigontex that will be held in Ho Chi Minh City from 10-13 April 2014. Shima Seiki

Finally, in Shima Seiki to exhibit at Preview in Daegu we hear how leading computerised flat knitting machine manufacturer Shima Seiki, of Wakayama, Japan, will exhibit at the Preview in Daegu exhibition that will take place from 5-7 March in Daegu, Korea. On display will be the latest version of its SDS-ONE APEX3 3D design system demonstrating comprehensive support of the entire process of apparel production from planning and production to sales promotion, as well as its capability for Virtual Sampling that is said to offer great savings in the sample making process.
