Italy’s Lonati Group, global leader in machinery for hosiery, socks and seamless wear has confirmed the group’s participation at the forthcoming FIMAST exhibition in its hometown of Brescia.

Lonati Group marketing manager Patrick Silva told Knitting Industry that group companies Lonati, Santoni and ITS Machina Lonati will all showcase samples from their latest machines at a specially designated area at FIMAST.

“World leader in the textile machinery sector Lonati Group partners with FIMAST and kicks off with the participation of Lonati, Santoni and ITS Machina Lonati the new path of the show towards a format oriented to responsible and sustainable innovation, technological development and excellence,” FIMAST announced this morning.

As is customary with FIMAST, Lonati Group exhibits designs and samples and not machinery at the exhibition, due to the proximity of the group companies’ own extensive showroom facilities close to the Brixia Forum, where FIMAST takes place in Brescia.

Many visitors to previous FIMAST exhibitions have also taken the opportunity to visit their suppliers such as Lonati, Santoni and other machine manufacturers whilst in Brescia, and the same is expected to happen this year. With the city of Brescia being home to most of the world’s leading hosiery machinery builders and nearby Castel Goffredo being home to many top-class hosiery manufacturers, buyers and sellers always have much to do in the area during the FIMAST week.

“Lonati Group has partnered with FIMAST and Santoni, Lonati and ITS Machina Lonati will exhibit at FIMAST,” Italian Exhibition Group and FIMAST Project Manager Matteo Pollini said. “They will not exhibit machines but samples as they have their showrooms not too far from the fairground.”
