Italian fashion is once again open for business, and so is the Emilia-Romagna Fashion Valley, which will once again be showing the world its latest creations. In November 2021, after three exclusively online editions due to the pandemic, Moda Makers, one of Europe’s major shows for upstream creative fashion manufacturers will again be an in-person event.

From Tuesday 9 to Thursday 11 November, visitors are invited to attend the event at its new location at the ModenaFiere Exhibition Centre.

All the creativity and elegance of the best made-in-Italy women’s knitwear will be on show, proposed by SMEs whose manufacturing excellence and craftsmanship go back to the 1950s

The new venue with its extensive spatial layout allows trade shows to be held in full compliance with current anti-Covid regulations, while at the same time allowing larger exhibitor and visitor attendance than the previous location.

“Exhibitors at Moda Makers will present thousands of samples - knitwear, tailoring, shirts and outerwear - for the 2022/2023 Fall/Winter season,” the show’s organisers say.

“All the creativity and elegance of the best made-in-Italy women’s knitwear will be on show, proposed by SMEs whose manufacturing excellence and craftsmanship go back to the 1950s. Ingenious and original, this manufacturing base has a long history not only of excellence but also of flexibility, bringing together Italian sartorial style, innovative materials and focus on sustainability.”

As a trade show directly organized by ModenaFiere, Moda Makers will have access to the international exhibition circuit, becoming an official event on the annual international calendar.

It is an important step forward for an event that has grown steadily over the years, attracting increasing interest from buyers the world over. Now, after the complex period of the Covid-19 emergency, it is rightly reasserting its pivotal role as the showcase of upstream creative fashions offered by Italy’s specialist SMEs.

Moda Makers is a trade-only show exclusively open to wholesale and retail buyers, i.e., wholesalers, fashion distributors, commercial agents, stores and specialist retail chains.
