New fabric highlights from Sitip

Season's novelties from benchmark brand in the production of synthetic and stretch warp-knitted fabrics, and circular knitted fabrics.

Leading Italian knitter Sitip has introduced a number of new fabrics this season, which have been showcased at the leading European fabrics fairs.

Cosmopolitan Tee-Time (PA 93% - EA 7%, 150 g), is a circular knit fabric from the Cosmopolitan Fashion-Tech line that satisfies any design requirements whilst simultaneously guaranteeing optimum performance. It is a bi-stretch fabric that is ideal for a raw hem finish, specifically conceived for activewear and urbanwear. Its Microsense Soft Performance technology bestows a gentle softness, rendering the product pleasant to touch and ‘blissful’ on the skin, as well as providing maximum opacity and UV protection (UPF50+). The fabric is bluesign and OEKO-TEX certified.

Cosmopolitan Orion (PA 76% - EA 24%, 135 g) is a warp-knitted fabric also from the Cosmopolitan Fashion-Tech line that meets any design requirements whilst simultaneously guaranteeing optimum performance. The fabric is specifically designed for urbanwear pieces. Bi-stretch and ideal for raw hem finishes, like Tee Time it is also pleasant to touch and blissful on the skin thanks to the Microsense Soft Performance technology. The fabric is fully printable, enabling a wide range of customisation possibilities and is bluesign and OEKO-TEX certified.

Modà fabric (PA 70% - EA 30%, 145 g), is a circular knit, fine gauge and bi-stretch, perfect for knitwear and underwear. The fabric is non-see-through and its lightness, as well as its gentle softness, make it pleasant to touch and pleasant on the skin thanks to the Microsense Soft Performance technology. It is also bluesign and OEKO-TEX certified.

Native-Trophy, a pre-consumer recycled fabric from the Native Sustainable Textiles line (PL 91% - EA 9%, 130 g) which includes fabrics made from recycled yarns and chemicals with a low environmental impact, enabling the consumption of natural resources to be kept to an absolute minimum. A mono-stretch and multi-functional circular knit fabric that is specifically designed for both activewear and urbanwear pieces. Its Microsense Soft Performance technology bestows a gentle softness, rendering the final product pleasant to touch and easy on the skin. The fabric is ready-to-print, perfect for a wide range of customisation possibilities, and comes with an array of colour swatches. Native Trophy is bluesign and OEKO-TEX certified.
