Pompea, the Italian brand renowned for its seamless underwear and clothing, has introduced a new eco-friendly collection made with Q-Cycle yarn by Fulgar. Reinforcing its commitment to sustainability, Pompea has chosen an innovative venue and partnership to celebrate the launch.
From 24-30 March, the Pompea pop-up store will be hosted inside MAUÁ, an electric bicycle shop dedicated to green mobility, located at Corso Garibaldi 38 in Milan. Visitors will have the chance to explore the entire collection, with a special press presentation scheduled for 27 March, offering insight into the collection's sustainable and technological advancements.
Founded in 1996 in Medole, Mantua, Pompea quickly became a key player in the Italian and international hosiery and underwear industry. The brand gained recognition through its extensive product range and innovative seamless technology, which remains a defining feature of its underwear line. The brand’s famous slogan, "It doesn't tear, it doesn't tighten, it doesn't stress," highlights its focus on comfort and durability.
Pompea’s success is driven by continuous investment in technology, rigorous stylistic research, and collaboration with certified international suppliers. These efforts have resulted in a diverse product assortment that caters to a broad customer base.
The company underwent a rebranding in 2019 after being acquired by Fulgar, a leading Italian manufacturer in the man-made fibre market. This acquisition aimed to revitalise Pompea's presence in the European market while preserving its Italian heritage. With a focus on sustainability and evolving consumer preferences, Pompea is positioning itself as a leader in trendy, eco-conscious comfortwear.
