The companies teamed up to create high-performing and customised outfits for the athletes. “Such synergy has given life to high-tech clothing designed to face summer climatic conditions, as well to perform at their best during activity: light resistance and maximum comfort,” Asahi Kasei report.
Thanks to these fabrics and fibres, sportswear manufacturer Rosti has designed and produced a fully customised cycling suit, both graphically and technically. Everything has been entirely worked and finished by hand.
“The exceptional talent of the athletes, Juri Ragnoli, Mattia Longa, Nicoletta Bresciani, Pietro Sarai, also enhanced by the technically advanced customized outfits, brought amazing results for the Season 2019,” the company continues.
The technical Thunderbike Power fabric by Sitip was selected for the shorts. Produced with the special Roica Resistance, mixed with polyamide, the fabric is able to guarantee excellent bi-elasticity and an excellent elastic modulus over time as well as low deformability.

The high density of the threads/cm is designed to enhance the article making it very compact and ensuring excellent fitting, high resistance to pilling, abrasion and maximum comfort. A compression therefore balanced thanks to this unique stretch fibre, for a well-being and an advanced level of athletic performance. The shorts then have transfer-printed and enriched with rubber-back coated inserts by the low-edges to ensure better grip on the leg and consequently greater aerodynamics.
For the totally transfer printed T-shirts Sitip's Bicimania reference guarantees high breathability and quick drying, ideal for the summer season, and comfortable thanks to the Roica premium stretch fibre.
