Luxury knitwear and accessories manufacturer Johnstons of Elgin has been granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment to His Majesty The King. It follows a month of remarkable milestones for Johnstons of Elgin, including its recent King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade and reaching one year as a certified B Corporation.

This fantastic achievement acknowledges our focus on a diverse range of criteria, notably sustainability and the environment,” the Elgin, Scotland headquartered company announced on its website this week.
The coveted accolade recognises Johnstons’ commitment to the highest standards of manufacturing quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. It is one of 145 individuals and businesses to receive a Royal Warrant of Appointment to HM The King in the first of his reign.
Johnstons of Elgin’s Royal Warrant Grantee and Vice Chair, Jenny Urquhart, commented: “This is a particularly special achievement, one of which everybody at Johnstons can be justifiably proud. As passionate and dedicated manufacturers we are thrilled that what we do, and what we make, is quite literally ‘fit for our King’."

As Warrant Holders, it can display the appropriate Royal Arms on its products and looks forward to doing so again, this time with the new Royal Arms which will be released very soon.
