Delta Galil appoints new president of Global Upper Markets
The company welcomes back Gil Shimon, former Tefron CEO, to Senior Management Team.

Dedication and commitment
Mr Shimon rejoins Delta after working for the company for nearly twenty years (1992 – 2011), the last four of which he served as Manager of the Socks and Seamfree business units. During his tenure, he increased Delta’s business turnover and promoted advances in production, marketing and corporate development. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Tefron, which manufactures intimate apparel globally.
“Delta has always maintained a dedication and commitment to design and innovation, which I have admired and respected. I look forward to working with Isaac and the team again and leveraging my expertise to grow our intimate/activewear sales globally,” commented Mr Shimon.
Mr Shimon is a graduate of Haifa University with a BA degree in Economics and Business Administration. He is married and a father of three. Mr Shimon will assume his position in February 2017.
