The brand showcased three of its latest innovations to the US audience at the exhibition that concluded in Salt Lake City, UT, this month. These included Thermofleece for mountain passionates, Move-Tech for runners, and Pure-Fit, designed for yoga lovers.
Thermofleece
Based on Meryl hollow fibres that combine insulation and lightness to keep your body warm, fabrics made with this technology are designed to allow a perfect freedom of movement and a superb soft touch. Meryl Thermofleece makes it the ideal choice for mountain passionates, providing the best outdoor experience, the company reports.
Move-Tech
Designed to improve the running experience, fabrics and garments made with this technology are said to move moisture away from the skin through evaporation. Water evaporates in less than half a second, keeping runners dry and comfortable, according to the brand.
Pure-Fit
Developed for yoga, pilates and studio sport lovers, Meryl Pure-Fit technology puts style and performance in the lifestyle. Fabrics made with Pure-Fit Technology are said to have an excellent stretchability for absolute freedom of movement without using elastane.
Sport Luxe Collection
Nylstar also showcased its Spring/Summer 2016 Sport Luxe Collection, made with Meryl exclusive signature fabrics. The collection has been designed to offer a feminine and sporty look, inspired in an active, cosmopolitan woman.
These pieces fuse comfort and fashion and fit to a contemporary woman lifestyle. For this purpose, Meryl's best quality fabrics, like Meryl Merino Fresh, which combine nature and technology, have been used.
Meryl Skinlife odour control yarns are covered with Merino Wool, resulting in a very soft fabric, cosy and warm, designed to keep the wearer cool, the company reports. The inherent silver microparticles present in the Meryl Skinlife core are said to prevent the growth of odour causing bacteria in the garment whilst its microfibre construction is designed to offer excellent wicking and breathability.
