Oysho, the sportswear and leisurewear brand of the Inditex group, has partnered with Fulgar to introduce a new sustainable sportswear collection made with Q-Cycle yarn. The collaboration represents a significant step towards eco-conscious innovation in activewear.

The collection features Q-Cycle, a polyamide 6.6 yarn produced using 100% replaced raw material, following mass balance principles. The material is derived from pyrolysis oil obtained from discarded or end-of-life tyres. The yarn maintains the same lightness, durability, and strength as virgin polyamide while providing an environmentally responsible alternative.

Q-Cycle has been certified by international labels such as RCS by Textile Exchange, ISCC PLUS, LCA, and Oeko-TEX Standard 100 Appendix 6, ensuring sustainability and consumer safety. The yarn is suitable for a wide range of textile applications, combining seamlessly with various fibres.

"Our collaboration with Oysho represents a concrete step towards a more sustainable future," says Daniela Antunes, Marketing Manager of Fulgar. "With Q-CYCLE, we demonstrate that innovation can transform potentially polluting materials into valuable resources, without compromising the quality and performance expected in today’s activewear."

With this initiative, Oysho and Fulgar reaffirm their commitment to developing innovative solutions for a more responsible and environmentally conscious textile industry.
